Possible Causes
Turntable not rotating properly,Turntable coupler slipping,Stirrer fan (mode mixer) not operating,Incorrect cookware or food placement
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use only microwave-safe containers and avoid superheating liquids.
- Step 1 – Verify turntable operation: Ensure the glass tray rotates smoothly during cooking. If not, inspect the roller ring and coupler for damage.
- Step 2 – Check stirrer (qualified persons): Some Thermador models use a stirrer fan behind a ceiling cover. Remove the cover and verify the stirrer blade is intact and rotates freely.
- Step 3 – Use proper cookware: Use round, microwave-safe dishes and arrange food in a ring pattern for more even heating.
- Step 4 – Stir and rotate: Pause cooking to stir or rotate food manually for large or dense items.
- Step 5 – Replace failed parts: If the stirrer motor is not running or the blade is damaged, replace the stirrer motor assembly.
Note: Uneven heating can be normal for some foods; compare with manufacturer cooking guidelines.
