How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the microwave before accessing the underside.
- Step 1 – Check tray and roller ring: Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Clean both thoroughly and inspect for cracks or flat spots on the rollers.
- Step 2 – Inspect coupler: Check the plastic drive coupler in the center of the cavity for cracks or wear. Ensure it is firmly seated on the motor shaft.
- Step 3 – Test motor (qualified persons): Remove the bottom panel to access the turntable motor. Test for continuity with a multimeter. Replace the motor if open or seized.
- Step 4 – Reassemble and test: Reinstall the motor, coupler, roller ring, and tray. Test with a light load to confirm smooth rotation.
