Safety first: Unplug the microwave before cleaning the keypad.

Steps to clear E15:

1. Inspect keypad surface: Look for visible damage, dents, or warping on the touch panel.
2. Clean the keypad: Wipe gently with a soft cloth slightly dampened with mild detergent. Focus on the area of the key that seems stuck. Dry thoroughly.
3. Dry out moisture: If the panel was exposed to steam or liquid, leave the door open and allow the unit to air dry for several hours before plugging back in.
4. Power reset: After drying, plug in and test. If E15 appears immediately or certain keys activate by themselves, the keypad membrane is likely shorted.
5. Replacement: The keypad or entire control panel assembly will need replacement.

Note: Because the keypad is integrated with live electrical components, replacement should be done by a qualified technician.
