Microwave displays E8 and will not start; interior light and display may still work.

• 3. Listen for clicks: When closing the door, you should hear distinct clicks from the interlock switches. A missing click can indicate a failed or misaligned switch.

Advanced:

• Remove the outer cover and locate the door latch assembly and secondary door switch.
• Test the secondary switch with a multimeter for proper open/close operation as the latch is moved.
• Replace any broken latch components or faulty switches with Tower-compatible parts.
