Possible Causes
Loose mounting screws, Warped cabinet panels, Microwave not level, Loose internal components contacting cabinet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before tightening screws or opening the cabinet.
Steps to reduce vibration:
- 1. Level the unit: Ensure the microwave sits flat on the counter or is properly secured to the wall/cabinet using the Tristar mounting kit.
- 2. Tighten screws: Check and tighten all external mounting and case screws.
- 3. Add padding: If the cabinet vibrates against adjacent surfaces, place thin rubber pads or spacers between contact points.
- 4. Internal check: With the cabinet removed, verify that the transformer, fan, and other large components are firmly mounted and not touching the cabinet walls.
