Microwave shows E6 and will not start; may be associated with turntable or motor issues.

Safety: Disconnect power before working under the microwave or removing panels.

• Check for obstructions: Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Clean the cavity floor and check for debris or broken parts that could jam the turntable.
• Inspect coupler: Check the plastic turntable coupler that fits over the motor shaft for cracks or stripping.
• Access motor: On Viking over-the-range models, remove the bottom panel to access the turntable motor. Inspect wiring and mounting screws.
• Test motor: If the motor does not run when commanded (and is not jammed), replace the Viking turntable motor.
• Reassemble and test: Reinstall the coupler, roller ring, and tray, then test operation with a small load.
