Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing internal components.

• Reset power: Disconnect power for 10 minutes, then test again. If E7 returns, proceed.
• Inspect sensor wiring: Locate the humidity and temperature sensors and follow their harnesses to the control board. Ensure all connectors are fully seated and free of corrosion.
• Clean connectors: If light corrosion is present, clean contacts gently with electrical contact cleaner and a soft brush, then reconnect.
• Replace suspect sensor: If one sensor appears damaged or tests out of range (for professionals with a meter), replace it with the correct Viking part.
• Control board replacement: If wiring and sensors are good, the main control board may have a communication fault and require replacement.
