• Clean keypad surface: Wipe the keypad with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
• Remove control panel: Access the keypad assembly and inspect for warping, cracks, or signs of liquid intrusion.
• Reseat keypad connector: Disconnect and reconnect the keypad ribbon cable to the control board.
• Replace keypad/control panel: If the error persists, replace the keypad membrane or the entire control panel assembly with the correct Whirlpool part.
