• Check stirrer (if equipped): Some Whirlpool models use a stirrer fan behind a ceiling cover. If the cover is warped or the fan is jammed, heating will be uneven. Have a technician inspect and replace if necessary.
• Load food correctly: Arrange food in a ring pattern on the tray, avoid stacking, and stir or rotate containers midway through cooking.
• Magnetron aging: A weak magnetron can cause poor heating performance. If cook times have increased significantly, professional diagnosis and magnetron replacement may be needed.
