• Confirm the control panel is responsive and that the child lock (if available on your model) is not enabled.

Intermediate checks (door area):

• With power disconnected, inspect the door latch hooks on the oven cavity for cracks or deformation.
• Check that the door is level and not sagging on the hinges. A sagging door can prevent the interlock switches from closing.

When to call a technician:

• If E01 persists after ensuring the door closes firmly, the primary or secondary door switch or the interlock wiring harness is likely faulty.
• Door switch replacement on Wolf microwaves requires removing the outer cover and working near high-voltage components. This should be done only by a qualified Wolf service technician.
