Possible Causes
Failed turntable motor, Broken or stripped turntable coupler, Jammed turntable mechanism, Faulty motor wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the microwave.
- Check for mechanical obstruction: Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Clean any food debris or broken glass from the cavity floor. Ensure the roller ring turns freely.
- Inspect coupler: Check the plastic turntable coupler that fits over the motor shaft for cracks or rounding. Replace if damaged.
- Access the motor: Remove the bottom cover (on built-in models, you may need to remove the unit from the cabinet). Locate the turntable motor beneath the cavity floor.
- Test the motor: Disconnect the motor and measure its resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Also check for signs of overheating.
- Replace motor: Install a new Zanussi-specified turntable motor, ensuring the shaft aligns with the coupler. Refit the bottom cover and reinstall the tray and roller ring.
After reassembly, test with a cup of water to confirm rotation and that E07 has cleared.
