How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before removing the control panel.
- Check viewing angle: Confirm that the display is actually dim and not just at an angle where contrast is poor.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the front panel and reseat the ribbon cable between the display and main PCB.
- Look for corrosion: Check the display board for signs of moisture or corrosion. Clean with isopropyl alcohol if minor.
- Replace display module: If segments are permanently missing or brightness is very low, replace the display PCB or complete control panel assembly.
