E10
AEG
Pressure Not Reached Within Time Limit
E10 appears and the cooker does not build pressure or aborts pressure programs prematurely.

Possible Causes
Leaking lid gasket, Faulty float valve seal, Steam release valve stuck in venting position, Insufficient liquid in inner pot
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and ensure it is cool and depressurized before servicing the lid.
- Check liquid level: Ensure you are using the minimum required liquid for pressure cooking as specified in the AEG manual. Too little liquid prevents proper pressure build-up.
- Inspect main gasket: Remove the silicone lid gasket and check for cracks, hardening, or deformation. Clean it with warm soapy water, dry thoroughly, and reinstall. Replace if damaged.
- Examine float valve: Remove the float valve and its silicone cap. Clean any food residue and ensure the valve moves freely in its guide. Replace the silicone cap if it is worn or swollen.
- Check steam release valve position: Make sure the valve is set to the correct pressure position (not venting) before starting a pressure program.
- Test with water: Run a pressure cycle with only water. If E10 still appears and steam is visibly leaking around the lid, replace the lid gasket and inspect the lid for warping or damage.
