Possible Causes
Dust-clogged fan, Worn fan bearings, Fan blade obstruction, Failed fan driver on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool before accessing the fan area.
- Access fan: Remove the rear or side cover (depending on model) to expose the cooling fan.
- Clean fan: Use a soft brush and compressed air to remove dust from the fan blades and vents.
- Check for obstructions: Ensure no wires or plastic parts are rubbing against the fan blades.
- Spin test: Gently spin the fan by hand; if it feels rough or sticks, replace the fan.
- Electrical test: If the fan does not run at all during operation, check for voltage at the fan connector when the cooker is hot. If voltage is present but the fan does not spin, replace the fan; if no voltage, the PCB driver may be faulty.
