• Inspect lid gasket: Remove the silicone sealing ring and check for cracks, flattening, or stiffness. Replace if any damage is found.
• Clean sealing surfaces: Wipe the metal rim of the pot and the lid groove where the gasket sits with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
• Check float valve and cap: Remove the float valve and silicone cap, clean thoroughly, and ensure the valve moves freely.
• Verify valve position: Ensure the steam release valve is set to the correct pressure position before starting a program.
• Test with water: Run a pressure cycle with water only. If steam still leaks around the lid, replace the gasket and inspect the lid for warping.
