Possible Causes
Worn or stretched silicone gasket, Food residue on lid or body rim, Steam release valve not fully closed, Damaged or misaligned lid locking ring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Cancel the program and allow steam to vent before opening the lid.
- Inspect gasket: Remove the silicone ring and check for cracks, flattening, or hard spots. Replace if any damage is found.
- Clean sealing surfaces: Thoroughly clean the lid rim, gasket groove, and cooker body rim. Dry completely before reassembly.
- Set valve correctly: Ensure the steam release valve is in the Sealing position.
- Check for lid warping: With the lid closed and locked, gently press around the edge to feel for uneven gaps. A warped lid may need replacement.
Persistent pressure leaks after gasket replacement indicate a lid or locking ring issue that should be evaluated by a technician.
