How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
- Clean panel surface: Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp cloth to remove grease or residue that may hinder touch sensitivity (for capacitive panels).
- Dry moisture: If the panel has been exposed to steam or spills, allow it to dry thoroughly. If possible, open the front panel and gently dry the backside of the keypad with cool air.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Check the ribbon cable between the keypad/display board and the main board. Reseat both ends.
- Replace keypad/display: If specific buttons never work or the membrane is physically damaged, replace the keypad/display assembly.
