Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on main board, Open thermal fuse in power path, Damaged power cord, Failed main control board power supply section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooker before opening. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage circuits, contact a qualified technician.
- Check outlet and cord: Test the wall outlet with another appliance. Inspect the Ambiano power cord for cuts or burn marks. Replace the cord if damaged.
- Inspect internal fuse: Remove the base cover and locate the inline fuse or board-mounted fuse near the power entry. Test for continuity with a multimeter. Replace only with the same type and rating if blown, and investigate why it failed (short, surge).
- Thermal fuse check: Some models include a thermal fuse in series with the heating circuit. If open, the unit may appear dead or fail to heat. Replace with the same temperature and current rating.
- Board inspection: Look for burned components or cracked solder joints on the main control board. If the power supply section is visibly damaged, replace the entire board.
