Pressure Not Building / Steam Leakage
Multicooker heats but never reaches pressure; steam constantly escapes from the lid area.

Possible Causes
Worn or stretched silicone sealing ring, Steam release valve not fully closed, Debris under float valve, Damaged lid or pot rim
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Allow the cooker to cool and fully depressurize before opening the lid.
- Inspect sealing ring: Remove the silicone sealing ring from the lid. Check for cracks, hardening, or deformation. Replace if it is more than 1–2 years old or shows any damage.
- Check steam release valve: Ensure the valve is set to the sealing position for pressure cooking. Remove and clean it thoroughly, making sure it moves freely.
- Clean float valve: Remove the float valve and its silicone cap. Clean both parts and the valve seat in the lid to remove food particles.
- Inspect lid and pot rim: Check for dents, warping, or chips on the stainless-steel pot rim and the lid’s sealing surface. Minor residue can be cleaned; significant damage may require replacing the inner pot or lid assembly.
- Test with water: Reassemble and run a short pressure cycle with only water to confirm that pressure now builds and steam leakage has stopped.
