Possible Causes
Warped inner pot, Loose heating plate mounting screws, Bent pot support frame, Foreign object under inner pot
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Allow the cooker to cool and unplug it before inspection.
- Remove and inspect pot: Take out the inner pot and check for dents or warping. Replace if the base is not flat.
- Check for debris: Look for utensils, grains, or other objects trapped between the pot and heating plate. Remove any foreign objects.
- Tighten mounting hardware: From the underside, inspect the screws or bolts securing the heating plate and pot support frame. Tighten any loose fasteners carefully.
- Test again: Reassemble and test with water. Some minor clicking from thermal expansion is normal, but loud banging should be resolved.
