Steam or water leaks from around the lid handle or top of the lid during pressure cooking.

Safety: Turn off and unplug the cooker, and wait until it fully depressurizes before removing the lid.

• Remove and clean anti-block shield: On the underside of the lid, remove the metal or plastic anti-block shield covering the steam outlet. Clean thoroughly to remove starch or food buildup.
• Reinstall sealing ring correctly: Ensure the silicone ring is evenly seated in the lid groove with no twists. The ring should not be loose or sagging.
• Tighten lid cover screws: If your Ambiano model has a removable inner lid plate, check and gently tighten the screws holding it in place.
• Inspect for cracks: Look for cracks in the plastic lid body or the metal gasket channel. If cracked, the lid assembly should be replaced.
