Possible Causes

Moisture ingress into keypad, Worn membrane switch, Loose ribbon cable between keypad and board, Cracked control panel PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker before working on the control panel.

  • Dry the panel: If the panel was recently cleaned with liquid, leave the unit unplugged for 24 hours to dry.
  • Clean surface: Wipe the panel with a slightly damp cloth and then dry. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
  • Reseat ribbon cable: Open the housing and locate the flat ribbon cable from the keypad to the main board. Disconnect and reconnect it carefully.
  • Test each button: After reassembly, test all buttons. If specific buttons still fail, the keypad membrane or panel board likely needs replacement.
  • Replace control panel: Install a new Aroma control panel assembly if available.
