Cooker starts but shuts off prematurely; rice or food is undercooked and the unit switches to Keep Warm too early.

• Clean heating plate and pot: Remove the inner pot and thoroughly clean the heating plate and the bottom of the pot. Remove any burnt-on residue.
• Use correct pot: Ensure you are using the original Aroma inner pot. Third-party pots may not transfer heat correctly.
• Check pot contact: Press the pot down and rotate slightly to ensure full contact with the plate.
• Adjust recipe: For starchy foods like rice, rinse thoroughly before cooking and avoid overfilling beyond the max line.
• Test with water: Run a cycle with only water. If the cooker still shuts off early, the bottom sensor may be misreading and should be inspected and possibly replaced.
