Possible Causes
Failed low-voltage power supply on control board, Defective power transformer or switching supply, Loose AC input connector, Damaged power cord
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before inspection. Do not operate with exposed live parts.
- Check outlet and cord: Test the wall outlet with another appliance. Inspect the Aroma power cord for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Replace the cord if damaged.
- Inspect AC input: Remove the bottom cover and verify that the AC input wires and strain relief are secure. Tighten any loose spade connectors.
- Board inspection: Look at the power supply section of the control board (near where AC enters). Check for burnt components or bulging capacitors.
- Try a different outlet: Plug the cooker into a known-good outlet without an extension cord or power strip to rule out external issues.
- Replace control board: If the power supply components are visibly damaged or E9 persists despite good input power, replace the main control board.
- Do not bypass fuses: If an internal fuse is blown, replace it only with the same rating. Never bypass or oversize the fuse.
