How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker before cleaning the keypad or opening the housing.

Full reset: Unplug the unit for at least 10 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge. Plug back in and try a basic program.
Check for stuck buttons: Press each button on the control panel several times. If any button feels stuck or does not click, clean around it with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid letting moisture enter the panel.
Clean panel surface: Remove grease or residue that may be causing false touches on touch-sensitive panels.
Test different modes: Try multiple programs (rice, steam, slow cook). If "Err" appears only on one mode, that mode's configuration or sensor may be at fault.
Inspect internal ribbon cable: If accessible, reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad/display board and the main control board.
Board replacement: Persistent generic error after resets usually indicates a failing control board that should be replaced.

Display shows "Err" or "Error" without a number; cooker beeps and will not start or cancels the program.
