Possible Causes

Inner pot not detected due to poor contact, Insufficient water or food mass, Warped inner pot bottom, Overly sensitive dry-boil protection algorithm

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Always cook with the inner pot in place and with adequate liquid as specified in the Aroma manual.

  • Check water level: Ensure there is at least the minimum required water or liquid for the selected program. Add more liquid and restart.
  • Inspect inner pot: Confirm you are using the original Aroma inner pot. Check that the bottom is flat and clean. Replace the pot if it is warped or heavily scratched.
  • Clean heating plate: Wipe the heating plate to remove any residue that could interfere with heat transfer.
  • Re-seat pot: Rotate the inner pot slightly while pressing it down to ensure full contact with the heating plate.
  • Test with water only: Add 2–3 cups of water and run a basic cycle. If the warning still appears quickly, the bottom sensor or control logic may be overly sensitive and require service.
