Possible Causes
Condensation collector cup missing or full, Steam condensing on lid edge and running down, Lid not properly aligned, Excessive steam due to venting mode
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the cooker is on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from power strips or outlets that could be exposed to water.
- Check condensation collector: Locate the small plastic cup or channel on the side/back of the cooker. Empty and reinstall it correctly.
- Align lid correctly: Make sure the lid is fully closed and oriented as per the Bella manual.
- Use correct mode: In non-pressure modes with the lid open or venting, expect more condensation. Place a tray or towel to catch drips if needed.
- Wipe exterior: After cooking, wipe down the outer housing and lid edge to remove moisture.
