How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the multicooker from mains power before opening any covers.
- Power reset: Unplug the unit for 5–10 minutes, then plug back in and try a simple program. If E1 reappears immediately, proceed to inspection.
- Access bottom panel: Place the cooled cooker upside down on a soft cloth. Remove the screws securing the bottom cover to access the heating plate wiring and main control PCB.
- Inspect NTC connector: Locate the two‑wire NTC sensor cable coming from the center of the heating plate to the PCB. Ensure the plug is fully seated and not corroded or burnt.
- Check for damage: Look for cut, pinched, or burnt wires. If insulation is damaged, the harness should be replaced.
- Test continuity (for technicians): Using a multimeter, measure resistance of the NTC sensor at room temperature; it should show a finite resistance (commonly 50–150 kΩ depending on model). Infinite resistance indicates an open sensor that must be replaced.
- Replace faulty parts: If the sensor or harness is open, replace the bottom NTC temperature sensor assembly. If wiring is intact but E1 persists, the main control PCB may be defective and should be replaced.
