Display shows cooking in progress, but the inner pot and food remain cold.

Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool before internal inspection.

• Listen for relay: When starting a program, you should hear a soft click from inside. No click may indicate a relay issue.
• Check heater wiring (advanced): Remove the bottom cover and inspect the heater terminals and wiring for loose or broken connections.
• Thermal fuse: Locate and test/inspect the thermal fuse in series with the heater. If open, replace with the same rating.
• Element continuity: Using a multimeter (if qualified), check continuity of the heating element. An open circuit means the element must be replaced.
