How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and ensure it is cool before working on the lid.
- Inspect lid cable: Some Black+Decker multicookers have a flexible cable running from the lid to the body. Check for visible damage or pinching.
- Clean lid interior: Remove the inner lid plate (if removable) and clean any moisture or residue around the sensor area. Dry thoroughly.
- Check connector (advanced): Remove the top cover to access the lid sensor connector on the main board. Reseat the connector.
- Replace sensor: If C1 persists, the lid temperature sensor assembly may need replacement.
