Possible Causes
Lid not fully latched, Dirty or obstructed lid sensor, Misaligned lid hinge, Faulty lid position switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the cooker is unplugged before manipulating the lid mechanism.
- Close lid firmly: Open and close the lid with a firm downward press until you hear a clear click. Try starting a program again.
- Clean contact areas: Wipe the lid rim, hinge area, and latch with a damp cloth to remove food residue that may prevent full closure.
- Check gasket seating: Ensure the silicone sealing ring is properly installed and not twisted or partially out of its groove, which can prevent the lid from closing fully.
- Inspect lid sensor (advanced): Locate the lid sensor or microswitch near the hinge or latch. Confirm that the actuator moves freely and that the switch clicks when pressed.
- Replace sensor if needed: If the sensor does not actuate or the error persists despite proper closure, replace the lid switch assembly.
