Pressure Leak / Inability to Pressurize
Multicooker takes excessively long to build pressure or never reaches pressure; steam constantly escapes from lid.

Possible Causes
Worn or damaged silicone sealing ring, Dirty or misaligned steam release valve, Debris on lid rim, Deformed inner lid plate or lid body
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not touch escaping steam. Turn off the cooker and allow it to depressurize naturally.
- Inspect sealing ring: Remove and examine the silicone ring. Replace if cracked, stretched, or hardened.
- Clean lid rim and pot edge: Wipe both surfaces to remove food residue that can prevent sealing.
- Check steam valve: Disassemble the steam release valve and anti-block shield as per Bosch instructions. Clean all parts and reassemble correctly.
- Test with water: Run a short pressure cycle with only water. If steam still leaks visibly from the lid edge or valve, replace the sealing ring and, if needed, the steam valve assembly.
