Possible Causes
Inner pot still hot from previous cooking cycle, Residual heat in heating plate, Dry pot condition detected, Faulty temperature sensor reading slightly high
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool if it has just finished a cooking cycle.
- Allow cool-down: Remove the inner pot and let both the pot and base cool for 15–30 minutes.
- Check for burnt food: Inspect the bottom of the pot for stuck or burnt food. Clean thoroughly to avoid hot spots.
- Clean sensor area: Wipe the central temperature sensor and heating plate with a soft, dry cloth.
- Restart with adequate liquid: Refill the pot with the correct amount of water or food and try the program again. If "HOT" appears even when the unit is cool, the temperature sensor may be out of calibration.
