Display shows "LID" or a lid icon and the cooker will not start the selected program.

Safety first: Ensure the cooker is unplugged while you inspect the lid and sealing surfaces.

• Check lid alignment: Open and close the lid, aligning the lid mark with the body mark. Rotate until you feel it lock firmly.
• Inspect sealing ring and rim: Remove the silicone sealing ring and clean it along with the lid channel and the stainless rim of the inner pot. Remove any food particles.
• Check for obstructions: Make sure no utensils, measuring cups, or food pieces are trapped between the lid and body.
• Test lid sensor: With the unit plugged in, gently open and close the lid while watching the display. If the "LID" message does not change, the lid sensor or switch may be faulty and require service.
