Possible Causes
Warped inner pot bottom, Debris between pot and heating plate, Uneven contact causing flexing, Loose mounting screws on heating plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow the cooker to cool before inspecting the interior.
- Inspect inner pot: Place the pot on a flat surface and check if it rocks or spins, indicating warping. Replace if significantly warped.
- Clean contact surfaces: Wipe the bottom of the pot and the heating plate to remove any debris.
- Check for loose parts: Gently shake the cooled unit; if you hear internal rattling, internal screws or components may be loose and require service.
- Monitor noise: Some mild clicking from thermal expansion is normal, but loud or new noises should be investigated.
