Possible Causes

Moisture or grease under touch panel, Worn membrane keypad, Loose ribbon cable between keypad and main PCB, Shorted button contacts

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker before cleaning the control panel.

  • Surface cleaning: Wipe the control panel with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
  • Drying time: If there was a spill, allow the unit to dry for 24 hours in a warm, dry area (unplugged) to let moisture evaporate from behind the panel.
  • Avoid pressing too hard: Excessive force can damage the membrane. Use light, even pressure.
  • If unresponsive: Persistent keypad issues usually require replacement of the keypad membrane or front PCB, which should be done by a technician.
