Cannot Build Pressure / Steam Leak
Multicooker heats but cannot reach or maintain pressure; steam constantly escapes from the lid area.

Possible Causes
Damaged or hardened silicone sealing ring, Steam release valve not fully closed, Debris on lid sealing surface, Warped inner pot rim preventing proper seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep hands and face away from escaping steam. Unplug the cooker and allow it to depressurize before inspection.
- Inspect sealing ring: Remove the silicone ring from the lid. Check for cracks, deformation, or hard spots. Replace if any damage is found.
- Clean lid and pot rim: Wipe the metal sealing surface on the lid and the top rim of the inner pot to remove food residue or oil.
- Check valve position: Ensure the steam release valve is set to SEAL/PRESSURE and is seated correctly.
- Check inner pot: Inspect the top rim of the inner pot for dents or warping. A damaged pot may not seal properly and should be replaced.
- Test with water: Add water, close the lid, and run a short pressure program. If steam still leaks heavily and pressure never builds, the sealing ring or valve assembly likely needs replacement.
