Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor (bottom or lid), Loose sensor connector, Damaged sensor harness, Failed sensor input on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and let it cool before inspection.
- Reseat connectors: Access the bottom and lid NTC sensors and reseat their connectors on the main board.
- Inspect wiring: Look for pinched or cut sensor wires, especially around the hinge and base.
- Test sensors: Measure resistance of each NTC at room temperature. Replace any sensor that reads open, shorted, or drastically different from the other.
- Replace control board: If both sensors test good but SE remains, the main control board’s sensor circuitry may be defective and require replacement.
