Cosori
Lid Seal / Pressure Retention Failure
Multicooker heats but never reaches or holds pressure (steam constantly escaping from lid)

Possible Causes
Worn or stretched silicone sealing ring, Debris on lid sealing surfaces, Damaged or mis‑seated float valve gasket, Steam release valve not sealing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not place hands or face near escaping steam. Allow the cooker to cool and depressurize before servicing.
- Inspect sealing ring: Remove the silicone ring and check for cracks, hardening, or deformation. Replace if more than 12–18 months old or visibly worn.
- Clean sealing surfaces: Wipe the lid groove and top rim of the cooker body to remove food residue.
- Check float valve: Disassemble the float valve and clean the pin and silicone gasket. Ensure it moves freely and seals properly.
- Inspect steam release valve: Remove and clean the valve. Check the silicone cap or gasket for damage and replace if needed.
- Test with water: After reassembly, run a water‑only pressure test. If steam still leaks, replace the Cosori silicone sealing ring and float valve gasket set.
