Possible Causes
User interface set to Keep Warm instead of cook mode, Firmware glitch in mode selection, Faulty mode selector buttons on control panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before pressing or cleaning control buttons if you suspect a stuck keypad.
- Confirm mode: Check the user manual for your specific Crock-Pot multicooker. L0/LO may indicate Keep Warm mode. Select a proper cooking program (e.g., Pressure Cook, Slow Cook) and set time and temperature.
- Cycle power: Unplug the unit for 5–10 minutes to reset the control board. Plug back in and reselect the desired program.
- Clean control panel: Wipe the touchpad or buttons with a slightly damp cloth (unit unplugged). Sticky residue can cause buttons to stick or misread.
- Check button response: Press each button individually and confirm that the display responds. If some buttons do not respond or trigger the wrong function, the keypad membrane may be failing.
- Replacement: If the unit remains stuck in L0/LO and will not accept other modes, the control panel overlay / keypad or main control board may need replacement by a technician.
