Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on main control board, Faulty power cord, Failed main control board power supply, Loose neutral or live connection at board terminals
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before any disassembly. If you are not experienced with mains voltage, seek professional service.
- Check outlet and cord: Test the outlet with another appliance. Inspect the power cord for visible damage and ensure it is fully seated in the cooker (if detachable).
- Try another outlet: Plug the cooker directly into a different known-good outlet, avoiding power strips.
- Access base: Turn the unit upside down and remove the bottom cover. Locate where the power cord enters and connects to the main board.
- Inspect connections: Ensure the live and neutral wires are firmly attached to the board terminals or connector block. Tighten any loose screws (unit unplugged).
- Check internal fuse (advanced): Many Crock-Pot multicookers have a small fuse on the main board or in-line with the power input. Visually inspect for a blown fuse (broken filament or discoloration). Replace only with the exact same rating.
- Board inspection: Look for burnt components or cracked solder joints in the power supply area of the board.
- Replacement: If the fuse blows again immediately or the board shows damage, replace the main control board. Do not bypass or up-rate the fuse.
