Possible Causes
Too little liquid, Thick starchy foods sticking to bottom, Dirty heater plate, Temperature sensor calibration drift
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use oven mitts when handling the hot inner pot.
- Add more liquid: Stop the program, release pressure if needed, and open the lid. Stir the contents and add additional water or broth to thin the mixture.
- Deglaze the bottom: Use a wooden spoon and a small amount of liquid to scrape up any stuck-on food from the bottom of the pot.
- Clean heater and pot: After cooling, thoroughly clean the inner pot and heater plate to remove any burned residue.
- Use appropriate mode: For thick dishes like risotto or chili, use a lower temperature setting or Slow Cook mode to reduce scorching.
- If H0 appears when empty or with water only: The sensor may be faulty and should be checked by a technician.
