Possible Causes
Steam leak at lid gasket, Steam release valve not fully sealed, Float valve O-ring damaged, Internal pressure sensor misreading low
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep clear of steam vents while checking for leaks.
- Inspect lid gasket: Remove, clean, and inspect the silicone gasket. Replace if it shows cracks, flattening, or stiffness.
- Check float valve O-ring: On the float pin, verify the small silicone O-ring is present and flexible. Replace if worn or missing.
- Verify valve position: Ensure the steam release valve is firmly in the Seal position and not loosely sitting between positions.
- Test with water: Run a short pressure cycle with only water. If U11 still appears and you hear continuous hissing, the sealing components likely need replacement.
- Sensor issue: If no leaks are visible but U11 persists, the pressure sensor may be out of calibration and require service.
