• Clean valve assembly: After the cooker cools, remove the valve cap and any anti-block shield. Soak in warm soapy water, scrub gently, rinse, and dry.
• Inspect silicone parts: Check the small silicone cap or gasket under the valve for cracks or deformation. Replace if worn.
• Reassemble and test: Reinstall the valve components correctly and run a water-only pressure test to verify proper sealing.
• Replace valve if needed: If steam still escapes continuously, replace the entire steam release valve assembly.
