Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and ensure it is completely cool and depressurized before inspection.
- Clean pressure path: Remove the inner lid (if removable) and clean the steam release cover and anti-block shield. Use a pin to gently clear any food residue from the small pressure port leading to the sensor channel.
- Inspect pressure sensor tube: On many Daewoo models, a silicone or Teflon tube runs from the lid area to a pressure sensor on the top or side. Remove the outer lid cover (screws under trim) and check that the tube is not kinked, blocked, or detached. Re-seat both ends firmly.
- Check sensor connector: Locate the small pressure sensor module (usually a square or rectangular component on a bracket) and ensure its plug is fully inserted into the main PCB or sensor board.
- Reset and test: Reassemble, add 1–2 cups of water, and run a short pressure program. Observe if E02 reappears before heating.
If the error returns, the pressure sensor itself is likely defective and should be replaced. Do not attempt to operate the cooker with a bypassed or shorted sensor.
