Possible Causes
Defective lid NTC sensor, Broken lid sensor wiring in hinge area, Loose lid sensor connector on control board, Moisture ingress into lid sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and let it cool.
- Inspect lid cable: Open the lid and examine the flexible cable running through the hinge (if visible). Look for pinching, cuts, or broken insulation.
- Access lid sensor: Remove the inner lid and then the outer lid cover (screws around the perimeter). Locate the small NTC sensor near the steam path or metal lid plate.
- Check connections: Ensure the sensor plug is firmly connected to the small lid PCB or directly to the main harness. Re-seat any loose connectors.
- Dry moisture: If there is visible condensation around the sensor, gently dry with a lint-free cloth and allow the lid to air dry for several hours before reassembly.
If E06 continues, the lid temperature sensor assembly should be replaced. Avoid using the cooker until the fault is corrected, as temperature control may be unsafe.
