Possible Causes

Liquid overflow into base, Condensation on internal PCB, Shorted sensor wiring, Damaged insulation around heater terminals

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker immediately. Do not use it while moisture is present inside.

  • Dry the interior: Remove the inner pot and wipe any visible liquid from the heater plate and surrounding area. Tilt the cooker gently to drain any trapped water from the base (do not invert fully if water may reach the PCB).
  • Open base: Remove the bottom cover and carefully dry all components with a lint-free cloth. Use gentle airflow (not high heat) to help evaporate moisture.
  • Inspect for damage: Look for burn marks or corrosion on connectors and wiring. Replace any severely corroded terminals.
  • Allow to air dry: Leave the cooker open in a warm, dry place for at least 24 hours before reassembly and testing.

If E13 returns after thorough drying, a sensor or PCB may have been permanently damaged by the moisture and should be inspected by a technician.
