• Clean rear vent path: Use a small brush to clear any food residue from the rear vent channel leading to the collector.
• Inspect hinge cover: Look for cracks or gaps in the plastic hinge cover that could allow steam to escape. Replace if broken.
• Verify lid alignment: Open and close the lid to ensure it sits squarely on the body. If the hinge is visibly bent, professional adjustment or replacement is recommended.

Persistent leakage from the hinge area after cleaning may indicate a damaged rear vent assembly that should be replaced.
