Timer / delayed start does not work correctly; cooking starts immediately or not at all

Safety first: Use delayed start only with foods safe at room temperature.

• Verify procedure: Follow the Daewoo manual step-by-step for setting delayed start; many issues are due to incorrect sequence.
• Reset clock: Set the current time correctly if the model requires it for delay functions.
• Power reset: Unplug for several minutes to clear any timer glitches.
• Test with water: Use water only to test delayed start and observe whether the program begins at the set time.

If the timer consistently misbehaves despite correct setup, the control PCB's RTC circuit may be defective and require replacement.
