Possible Causes

Failed bottom NTC sensor, Damaged sensor wiring harness, Corroded connector on main PCB, Control board sensor input failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the multicooker before removing covers or accessing internal wiring.

  • Power reset: Leave the unit unplugged for 10 minutes, then reconnect and try a simple program. If E5 reappears immediately, continue with inspection.
  • Inspect underside (advanced): Remove the bottom cover according to the service instructions. Locate the NTC sensor clipped to the heating plate or mounted nearby.
  • Check connectors: Ensure the NTC sensor plug is firmly seated on the main PCB. Look for signs of corrosion, moisture, or burnt marks. Clean lightly with contact cleaner if needed and reseat.
  • Check wiring: Inspect the cable from the sensor to the board for cuts or pinched sections. Secure any loose wiring away from hot surfaces.

When to call a technician: Testing the NTC with a multimeter and replacing it or the control board should be done by a qualified technician. If you are not trained, do not attempt live electrical measurements.
